2008 Toyota HiLux Invincible gets even more power (UK)
Toyota unleashes yet another limited edition HiLux pickup truck to the U.K. market.
Equipped with a powerful 3.0-liter D-4D diesel engine, the Toyota HiLux Invincible 200 Double Cab also features a Toyota Motor Sport engine tuning kit increasing the oil-burner’s maximum power output from 169 bhp and 343 Nm to more impressive 194 bhp and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque.

What’s really impressive about this model is that, despite such a major power increase, the engine’s fuel economy and emissions level remain the same. However, when fuel prices are going through the roof, one would prefer to get better mileage with the same number of horses under the hood.
Of course, the truck comes stuffed with new two-tone leather upholstery with heated front seats and full-map touch screen satellite navigation. Outside of the truck there is a stainless steel mesh grille, a set of polished alloy wheels and a black metallic paint.
The Toyota HiLux Invincible 200 Double Cab’s production will be limited to 500 units.
It will be available at a base price of £21,540.
