The Ahlen-based tuning house edo competition Motorsport GmbH has presented its new take on the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 AWD super car.
Converting it to rear-wheel drive and adding a number of mechanical enhancements, the German tuner slashed its 0 – 62mph acceleration time by 0.2 seconds to 3.2 seconds and increased its top speed from 210mph to more impressive 224mph (360 km/h).

The car, Edo says in its press release, comes equipped with new high flow catalytic converters, new exhaust headers, new exhaust tip, as well as new mufflers, new performance camshafts, modified cylinder heads and new high flow air filters plus reprogrammed engine controls.
Edo didn’t bother itself with producing new aero kit for the car.
Instead, the Murcielago LP720/2 sports an aerodynamically optimized rear wing with an adjustable lip.
The car sits on a set of 19-inch alloys fit with Continental high-speed tires: 225/35 ZR 19 Continental V-max in the front and 325/30 ZR 19 Continental V-max in the rear.
