2009 Acura TL will start at $34,955 (USA)

Honda’s premium brand has finally announced the recommended U.S. pricing for the 2009 Acura TL mid-size luxury sedan.

Available at a base price of $34,955, the car will sport a 3.5-liter, 280hp V6 VTEC engine capable of returning a pretty decent 18 / 26 mpg city / highway fuel economy and meeting California’s CARB LEV II ULEV strict emissions standard.

If the engine is too anemic for your taste, there is also a more powerful 3.7-liter V6 engine, which is only available with the all-wheel drive SH-AWD model.

Carrying a price stick of $38,505, it gets $3730 more expensive if ordered with the optional Technology Package.
