Ecurie Ecosse, a former motor racing team and now a tuning specialist, has revealed its personalization program for the 2009 Jaguar XF sports sedan.
Available in the Scottish team’s trademark Flag Blue Metallic paint, the car looks even more elegant than the base model.
The Jaguar XF’s appearance is further enhanced with new wood trim refinished in piano black, new leather upholstery and soft blue interior accent lighting.
Although Ecurie Ecosse is working on an upgraded version of Jaguar’s supercharged SV8 engine, there is already a two-stage tuning program for the sedan’s 2.7-liter oil-burner.
First, the diesel engine may get a new ECU module that upgrades its maximum power output by 30hp to 237hp without any sacrifice in fuel efficiency.
The second stage involves a full re-map of the ECU with maximum available power increased to 258hp and the level of fuel consumption reduced by 6-9 percent.
Of course, the car also features new suspension, lowered ground clearance, performance brakes and a custom exhaust system with four 90mm tail pipes.
It rolls on impressive 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with Dunlop SPMAXX tires.
