2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS: first official photos
GM has finally released the first official photos of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS muscle car.
Powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 outsourced from the 2008 Chevy Corvette ZR-1 and mated to a six-speed manual transmission, the 2010 Camaro SS will have up to 422hp and 408lb-ft (553Nm) of torque at its driver’s disposal.

There will also be a less powerful SS equipped with the L99 engine, also based on the LS3 but detuned to 400hp and 395lb-ft (535Nm) of torque and mated to an automatic transmission.
The car will have to compete against such serious players as the Ford Mustang Shelby and Dodge Charger SRT8.
