Pininfarina B0 concept EV
Not even close to the Sintesi concept vehicle, the new Pininfarina B0 electric concept from the Italian coach-builder is nevertheless much closer to the real production line.
Pininfarina’s French partner Bollore S.A. is going to start manufacturing the B0 as early as the end of next year.

The four-seating, four-door mono-volume concept EV is motivated by an electric motor, which, in its turn, is powered by Bollore’s LMP battery pack.
Extra power comes courtesy of a set of supercapacitors and roof-based solar panels so that the vehicle’s range comes close to 250 km (155 miles).
Although the car takes only 6.3 seconds for the full 0-60km/h acceleration so that you won’t be the slowest car in the city traffic, its top speed is nevertheless limited at 130km/h, which is not really comfortable speed on a two-lane rural road when you want to overtake a freighter.
Well, you can get a Lightning GT EV for the intercity travel, right?
