2009 Nissan 370Z to feature a 332hp V6 VQ engine
The 2009 Nissan 370Z sports car will be equipped with the 3.7-liter V6 engine that currently motivates the 2009 Infiniti G37x AWD coupe.
Sporting impressive (for the lightweight car) 332hp rating, the engine is 26hp more powerful than the powerplant installed on the 2007 Nissan 350Z Coupe and Roadster.

The engine will be mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox with a synchronized downshift rev-matching system or a seven-speed automatic transmission, probably identical to those coming with the G37.
The Japanese company promises that the 2009 Nissan 370Z will both shorter and lighter than the 350Z, so there is a good chance that it will be even faster and more fun to drive comparing to the outgoing model.
