2009 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S
The facelifted version of the hot Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S super-sedan will be officially unveiled at the next North American International Motor Show, which is scheduled to open in Detroit in just three weeks, on January 12, 2009.
Equipped with a more powerful 4.7-liter 433hp V8 engine, the car promises to be even better performer than the 2008 model, which is not that slow either.

According to official specifications, the car will accelerate from zero to 100km/h in only 5.1 seconds and will take just 3.7 seconds to jump from 80 to 120km/h, so takeover will not be a problem even on a relatively busy road.
The company promises that the car will return quite an impressive combined fuel efficiency of 15.7 l/100km (15mpg), but I guess it will be closer to 20 l/100km (12mpg) in the real world.
Comparing to the current model, the 2009 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S will feature different optics, new radiator grille with more aggressive vertical bars, new multi-spoke wheels, slightly reshaped front and rear bumpers with new exhaust tail-pipes, and other minor tweaks to the vehicle’s exterior styling.
The Quattroporte’s gorgeous interior wasn’t changed that much. Besides a tad different leather/Alcantara seat cladding, there is a new entertainment system, a little less red color and a little more carbon-fiber and titanium accents.
There is still no info about the vehicle’s price, but I guess it will be slightly more expensive than the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, Audi S8 and the Jaguar XJ Super V8, but will definitely stay much below the glorious 2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur super-sedan.
