MTM is a little bit slow this year. It took the German tuner almost two months to deliver a proper response to a pair of VW Scirocco tuning programs developed by Abt and Oettinger.
To be fair, MTM’s engine upgrade program looks much more impressive increasing 2009 VW Scirocco’s maximum available power to 245, 250 and to whopping 272hp.
MTM Scirocco R tuning kit
The tuning kit, officially called MTM Scirocco R, also includes a four-pipe exhaust system (€2255) with rear skirt attachment, a monstrous eight-piston MTM Brembo brake package (€3462), an MTM Clubsport running gear with a starting price of €1489 and a set of bimoto rims available at a price of €1876.
A complete wheel assembly wrapped in performance tires by Continental or Michelin will start at €3166.50. Impressive.
