2009 Volkswagen Scirocco R

The 2009 Volkswagen Scirocco R hot hatch comes to the European market sporting a 2.0-liter TSI engine, front wheel drive system and the R-Line interior equipment trim.

According to the German automotive Leviathan, the performance car’s new engine produces as many as 261 hp and consumes around 8.0-liter of Super Plus gasoline per 100 kilometers. The level of CO2 emissions is also limited at acceptable 187 g/km. And these are the numbers for a car that has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h!

Scirocco R’s exciting exterior has been further improved courtesy of new 17-inch Mallory alloy wheels available as standard equipment (of course, you can also opt in for more impressive and expensive 18-inch alloys), new roof edge spoilers, new R-style bumpers, new air-diffuser and this sort of things.

Inside the car, there is a number of R-style parts, a sport steering wheel and a pair of Kyalami sport seats.
