2010 Lotus Exige Scura / Stealth special edition supercar (EU / Japan)
Lotus Cars has just started a PR campaign for its new baby, the special edition 2010 Lotus Exige Scura / Stealth compact supercar.
The car comes powered by a 260hp supercharged 1.8-liter four-banger we have already seen motivating its top-of-the-line Lotus Exige Cup 260 model.

Sitting inside its feather-light 925 kg carbon-fiber body, the powerplant takes only 4 seconds to propel the car from zero to 100 km/h and achieves a top speed of formidable 245 kilometers per hour.
To reduce strain on the engine and transmission, the standard launch control system allows wheel-speed up to the speed of 10 km/h. I only wonder how this system will behave on a wet or dusty road?
With total production run limited at meager 35 units, this is going to be one of the most desirable exotics all over the civilized part of the planet. Hence the generous price tag of £45,000 / €50,000 to €61,000 for the Scura — the European version of the supercar.
In Japan, the car will be sold as Exige Stealth but the price is yet unknown.
