German tuning specialist GeigerCars.de -a brand that specializes in all sorts of cars and trucks that can be referred to as ‘American muscle’- already has a number of high-voltage models under its belt with the list of tuning packages including the gorgeous Corvette Z06, the heavy-duty Ford F650 and even a seriously souped-up version of the legendary Hummer H2 (offered as H2 GT, this one was fitted with a pair of Lambo-style guillotine doors.) Now, raising the proverbial stakes and putting even more money on the table, the German tuner has finally offered its first upgrade program for the fast and furious 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 pony car.
The price in the title is for the base 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 model with the $900 destination charge included.
Chrysler’s autoparts supplying arm Mopar revealed first official details on the recently announced drag race package for the Dodge Challenger muscle car. Besides the fancy paintjob (or is it just vinyl applique?), the package also features a serious power upgrade and comprehensive active and passive safety enhancements.
The most powerful version of the retro-styled muscle car, the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, will be available for orders from December 3, 2007.
Working class has just received another powerful and, one must admit, handsomely looking tool. Drawn by Ralph Gilles, the guy who is also responsible for the muscular styling of the 2005 Chrysler 300, this commercial vehicle with its extended wheel arches and dynamic front fascia looks more like a sports car rather than a boring work horse.
Chrysler has officially started 356 days countdown before the production version of its 2009 Dodge Challenger muscle car will be unveiled to the general public. Although it is still almost a full calendar year before the car will be shown on a motor show (and there will probably be three to four more months before first customers will receive their vehicles), it is clear that Chrysler is about to introduce a new icon on wheels.
According to the officially disseminated info, an entry-level 2007 Dodge Nitro SXT crossover SUV with rear-wheel drive (RWD) will have a base price of less than $20,000. The new vehicle is expected to arrive to the brand’s U.S. dealerships sometime in October.
The 2007 Dodge Nitro radiates that powerful charisma that could have possibly made this gorgeous, retro-styled vehicle the brand’s halo model, if only it was released in different time. Perhaps, a decade ago, it would become an instant hit. Now, it is just another nice SUV to consider for a young family with a couple of kids and a golden retriever.
