Together with the 2008 Citroen Berlingo electric van, the new badge-engineered Citroen C-Zero will become the second electric vehicle in the French brand’s model line-up.
Citroen has unveiled its new flex-fuel Citroen C4 BioTech family hatchback during the European International Agricultural Show. With bio-fuel hysteria recently hitting the all-time high, the new C4 FFV will not only make our planet a little bit greener, but will also get the French car manufacturer a lot of (basically) free publicity.
The 2007 Citroen C4 Picasso people carrier will be officially launched at the upcoming motor show in Geneva, Switzerland, scheduled to open in January, 2007. Sharing its underpinnings with current Citroen C4 and Peugeot 307, the new people mover will comfortably seat five persons and offers you a larger than life windscreen that ends somewhere beyond your back, lets in a lot sun and possibly costs a whole fortune to replace if damaged.
The French car manufacturing giant PSA Peugeot Citroen have revealed their new special edition version of the tiny coupe-convertible. Called Citroen C3 Pluriel Latte, the new car not only offers you unique styling and color that was previously unavailable for the European city car, but also adds all of the most popular (and useful) comfort options in a single package. If you don’t have a problem with the fact that you can have it in any color as long as it is beige, this may be a very interesting choice for a young person who wants to be different on a tight budget.
The Citroen C4 1.6HDi model, which is powered by a 1.6-liter 110hp diesel engine, will soon receive a new, clutchless, gearbox that allows drivers to change gears using an F1-like paddle-shifters mounted on the steering wheel. Cool, huh?
The French car manufacturer launches three new Citroen Xsara Picasso VTX models designed primarily for the British market with corporate drivers in mind.
Designed primarily as fleet cars, the 2006 Citroen C5 VTX+ Hatchback and Estate models are based on the standard VTX trim of the mid-size vehicle and come equipped with an advanced NaviDrive satellite navigation and telematics system with a color-screen interface, voice-activation and TA traffic information system.
As usual for this kind of cars, you will probably not be able to find a version with high-quality leather upholstery, precious wood and BluRay-based rear entertainment system. However, if you plan to start you own rent-a-car company, this may be quite an adequate choice thanks to its nice combination of standard equipment and relatively low price. The only problem that we see here is that a French car is, well, not for everyone.
