The German first-tier tuner B&B -a brand that is ready to offer you appearance and performance upgrade products for just about any European car starting with Seat and Skoda and going all the way up the food pyramid to Bentley and Jaguar- has just unveiled its new comprehensive personalization program for the 2009 Audi S5 and A5 performance convertibles.
So, the famous Audi RS6 Avant sports wagon will soon have a little brother. While not as spacious (a thing that can only be appreciated when you travel from Germany to Portugal with your wife, a couple of kids and a cat), the new sports sedan still offers an impressive combination of comfort and performance features that many of its competitors can only dream of.
The Swiss tuning specialist Caractere has revealed its first exterior styling kit for the 2008 Audi A4 (B8) compact sport sedan. Compared to a stock version, the car with the body kit looks a lot more aggressive, although some purists may complain that with all these curves and mesh grids the vehicle looks too much like a Korean idea of a sports car.
The German 2008 Audi Q7 behemoth of a crossover SUV has just received a brand new body kit from the local JE Design tuning specialist. Although I still think that providing something, which is essentially a luxury business car in a form factor of an SUV, with a “sporty” body kit is like installing tube bars on a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, I am pretty much impressed with the new body kit that the German tuner has developed.
The 2009 Audi S3 Sportback compact station wagon come full of sports ambitions and is powered by the very same 2.0-liter TFSI engine that we have already seen earlier today on the new Audi S3 hot hatch.
Set to arrive to dealerships early next year, the 2009 Audi Q5 will have to fight its way to consumers’ hearts through a number of strong competitors such as the Japanese Acura RDX, and Infiniti EX35, the German 2007 BMW X3, as well as the British Land Rover LR2 compact crossover vehicle, although only the latter is a truly off-road capable SUV.
The 2008 Audi A5/S5 pair of extremely hot sports coupes is spectacularly disgusting as it is, so the German tuner Abt Sportsline didn’t have to invest too much effort in making the S5 look even uglier. The new two-color color scheme puts an extra emphasis on the vehicle’s bulging hood with the signature repulsive gaping mouth of the radiator grille, while the new front bumper makes the S5’s front fascia look like it has just bit a particularly juicy lemon.
The 2007 Audi R8 supercar, which is destined to fight its way through the ranks of such road warriors as the Italian Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, the British Aston Martin V8 Vantage and, of course, the stunning (albeit somewhat archaic in its design) German beauty Porsche 997 Carrera 4S, will feature a permanent 4WD quattro system with viscous coupling (it is reported to be outsourced from Volkswagen) and will be motivated by a 4.2-liter 420hp V8 FSI transplanted directly from the gorgeous Audi RS4 compact sports-sedan.
German tuning studio nothelle pumped a little bit more fire under the 2007 Audi Q7‘s long hood. Besides offering a (surprisingly) modest appearance package for the executive crossover, the tuning specialist has also offered power upgrade program for the most popular engines currently available for the car. The program even includes the anemic 3.0-liter six-pot oil-burner, which is often ordered with the most affordable version of the Q7 only to cause acute seizures of buyer’s remorse later on when he or she has to overtake a truck on a busy rural road.
The 2007 Audi TT Typ 8J was officially presented to the public on April 6, 2006. While the original vehicle’s DNA is still there, the new sports car features an even more streamlined appearance with clean, dynamic lines making the Bauhaus-inspired design look a lot less boring than that of the outgoing model.
