Honda has revealed recommended pricing for its 2009 Honda Pilot large SUV. Designed as Honda’s answer to Toyota Highlander and the 2007 Ford Explorer, the car clearly doesn’t look particularly “premium” and its design is a bit old, but this is still a large vehicle that will allow you to comfortably haul you family of five from Maine to California and back with all their suitcases, purses, gaming consoles and, of course, your old St. Bernard Richard.
As the US dollar gets cheaper, foreign manufacturers keep adjusting their prices in the northern direction every time they refresh their existing models or introducing new ones. Still, at least when it comes to the 2008 Honda Ridgeline, it looks like the car still gets somewhat cheaper if you factor in the annual inflation.
The Japanese brand has finally unveiled its long-awaited (by some, at least) 2008 Honda Accord. Although each new version of the Accord gets more and more generic exterior design in a ninja-style attempt to blend without a trace in a morning traffic, this is still a nice car with a choice of powerful, yet efficient engines and a set of interior amenities most European vehicles in the same class can only dream about.
The 2007 Honda Civic Type R, a three-door hatchback, which is going to be the most powerful in the recently presented line of the third generation Civic family and is set to come to the Asian and European markets sometime next year, is touted by the Japanese car manufacturing brand as a ‘superhatch’. They’ve got to be kidding. Seriously.
London Metropolitan Police has acquired 117 new 2006 Honda Civic Hybrids to be put on duty. First introduced around five years ago as a Japanese Domestic Market model, the car was completely overhauled last year. The vehicle now sports a more powerful (20hp) electric motor, smaller Nickel-metal hydride batteries, as well as a more potent internal combustion engine with three stage i-VTEC and VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) systems.
First revealed almost four years ago, the 2007 Honda Element urban crossover brings you a new Galaxy Gray Metallic color, a trifle more powerful four-cylinder engine and a new Integrated Seat Belt System on the front seats making it more comfortable for rear seat occupants to enter and leave the vehicle. It is reported that the CUV will be selling at a higher price, but for the extra money you will not only get 10 more horses packed below its prominent hood, but will also get a new five-speed automatic gearbox to bringing their power to the road.
The 2007 Honda Stream MPV that replaces the older homonymous model since July, 2006 14 in Japan (that’s tomorrow, by the way,) has at last been officially announced.
