Next week, the Japanese car manufacturing giant will officially present its refreshed 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 / V8 sports utility vehicle. The wraps will be pulled off during the upcoming 2012 Chicago Auto Show.
The British brand has officially confirmed that they plan to start selling the 2011 Aston Martin Cygnet, a rebadged version of current Toyota iQ city car. It looks like we will finally see an Aston Martin without major quality issues.
Although Toyota still stubbornly refuses to offer a Highlander SUV with a diesel engine that could be able to deliver an adequate combination of impressive fuel economy, high torque and still fairly low maintenance costs, the company still invests lots of efforts to squeeze some more from a gasoline engine. At least, it was recently reported that the 2009 Toyota Highlander mid-size crossover SUV will come powered by a new, more fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine.
Everybody knows that if you want to sell something to a Brit, you have to call it “limited”. It doesn’t matter if a car is limited to just 10,000 pieces or that the only thing that makes it “limited” is a new bumper sticker and a couple of strips on the hood. The car has to be unique. Well, more or less. Knowing that, Toyota unleashes yet another limited edition HiLux pickup truck to the U.K. market.
Guys from Newport Convertible Engineering (NCE) have presented their new baby: a built to order Toyota Prius Hybrid. Although the conversion program doesn’t enhance the vehicle’s mileage or its handling in any way, it still adds some value to it, especially if you happen to live in California with its immense number of sunny days. Yeah, right: the Prius NCE is a convertible!
The long-awaited Hymotion L5 Toyota Prius plug-in conversion kit that allows you to make your hybrid compact an even more fuel-efficient vehicle has finally been launched.
Want to see the new limited edition 2008 Toyota HiLux Invincible pickup truck? Than, perhaps, you should include the next Commercial Vehicles auto show in Birmingham, UK, into your travel schedule for the April, 2008. At the event, the Japanese carmaker’s official tuning house TRD will present a version of the popular truck powered by a larger, more powerful oil-burner, as well as new rims, more advanced interior, and new multimedia gadgets.
The 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series (it will be sold as the LC V8 model in Europe) will be unveiled in October at the upcoming motor show in Sydney, Australia.
The Japanese company has just presented its new 2008 Toyota Vanguard mid-size crossover SUV. Previously available only on Australian and North American markets, this longer (plus some four inches over the standard) wheelbase version of the 2005 Toyota RAV4 will finally be offered for the Japanese customers, too, albeit with a more appealing exterior styling.
It took Toyota half a year to make its mind as to the 2008 Toyota Highlander hybrid SUV’s price and specifications.
Well, you can’t really blame the Japanese brand for its indecisiveness, since the niche of a mid-sized SUV with three-row capacity has got really overcrowded during the last couple of years. Toyota just can’t afford making a mistake when it comes to pricing a vehicle, which is clearly targeted at a price-conscious customer.
