Kahn Design and Cosworth have finally presented their first baby: the Kahn Cosworth Sport 300 tuning program for the 2007 Range Rover Sport entry-luxury SUV. As usual, the upgrade package includes a remapped ECU module, as well as a set of new alloy wheels and lots of new plastic that turn a nice mud-plugger into a strictly street-bound rice rocket.
The new 2007 Jeep Wrangler Ultimate concept vehicle will be demonstrated at the upcoming SEMA show in Las Vegas from 30th October to 2nd November. Combining just the right amount of bling, power, the model range’s iconic off-road prowess and, of course, the obscene amounts of distilled mojo in in a single package, Chrysler’s own customization division Mopar has created one of the most desirable lightweight mud-pluggers in the Northern hemisphere.
Okay, Mansory is at it again. Right after presenting a pimped-up version of the 2007 Bentley Continental GTC, the German tuning studio has unveiled a modified Rolls Royce. Probably inspired by the exploits of the infamous rapper Xzibit, the Brand-based tuning specialist decided to use the usual set of flashy ingredients. They got some matte black paint, threw in some chrome, added black rims with heavily tinted “privacy” glass all around and served it cold.
Okay, this is perfectly logical. Europe is becoming such an increasingly crowded place so even those rich and famous have to abandon their longer than life limousines in favor of something more compact and easier to park. But the car, however small, has got to be luxurious, too. Here comes Brabus with its modified Smart ForTwo supermini.
The 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLS four-door coupe may well be one of the most elegant models on the market, but certain kind of people is not satisfied with its smooth lines and curves. It’s too glamorous for them, I guess.
That’s why they spend a great deal of money to get rid of stock bumpers and other exterior plastic parts and replace them with after-market jobs that, while not necessarily increasing the vehicle’s aerodynamics, still make it, um, special. In a very special meaning of the word.
German tuning specialist JE Design has just revealed an upgrade kit for the 2007 VW Touareg. Clearly designed with a city dweller in mind, the new tuning package doesn’t contribute to the vehicle’s off-road capabilities, but in return makes it a lot more potent on an Autobahn.
Developed exclusively for the rapidly growing Chinese market, the new 2007 Buick Park Avenue was completely redesigned to meet special tastes and need of the local public. Fir the brand, the introduction of the car is especially important because the Chinese are well known for their almost unnatural love to General Motor’s entry-level luxury brand.
The new rear-wheel drive Nissan NISMO 350Z may be looking not as cute as the “ordinary” 350Z does, but it is surely more interesting to look at than the (visually) boring 2007 Audi TT and is certainly more powerful and agile than its more affordable sibling. (NOTE: Pricing information updated, see after the jump)
The French L’Equipe sports daily magazine has offered its readers a special edition version of the 2007 Renault Megane family of compact hatchbacks. Available for all versions of the car (including the three-door and five-door models, that is) the Megane L’Equipe edition is not limited to just a set of fancy decals. Au contraire, the car will offer a comprehensive set of equipment, which is usually available only as pricey options.
The 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class roadster has finally received its own exclusive individualization kit.
Although the new package doesn’t bring anything new in the powerplant department, it still allows you to make the comfortable sports coupe look more like one of those aggressive, mind-numbing AMG-tuned street rockets that cost twice as more and, let’s face it, can be used as daily drivers only by Formula One pilots.
