The British Subaru tuning specialist Litchfield has just presented its new Type 20 tuning kit for the JDM 2008 Subaru Impreza STI pocket rocket.
Vorsteiner‘s new Japanese cars-oriented brand Ventross has developed a modest tuning kit for the 2008 Lexus IS-F performance sedan putting the strongest accent not on the usual artificially exaggerated curves and angles, but on the high-contrast black-and-white color scheme that regained its popularity during the recent decade or so.
It has only been one week since the American multi-brand tuner Vorsteiner -a company that is mostly associated with high-grade custom wheels, but also has a good reputation when it comes to all sorts of aerodynamic kits for luxury vehicles- revealed its tuning package for the 2008 BMW M3 (E92) compact sports sedan. Now, to keep the public interested, the company introduces its Black Widow tuning kit for the outrageous Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series. Although sounding a bit pretentious, the kit indeed looks very organic and as aggressive as a hungry venomous spider attacking a caterpillar.
First presented in March 2008 at the Geneva motor show, the 2008 Smart ForTwo Special Edition Limited Two will arrive to the U.K. market on the first day of September. As usual, the British customers will receive a number of the most popular features in a single, economy-priced package.
The German tuning house AC Schnitzer has just presented its new tuning kit for the 2008 BMW M3 Cabrio performance coupe-convertible. Well, to be more precise, this is not exactly a tuning kit, but rather an appearance package with a couple of upgrades to the vehicle’s suspension system and brakes.
German tuner Hamann has just offered its new engine upgrade program for the speedy (and also quite fuel efficient for the level of performance it delivers) 2008 Mini Cooper D diesel-powered performance hatchback.
German super-tuner AC Schnitzer has just revealed its new Falcon wide-body appearance kit for the 2008 BMW X5 E70 performance-oriented crossover SUV. Besides wider wheel arches, the new body kit also includes new side steps, a new front bumper fascia that significantly decreases the vehicle’s off-road abilities, as well as new rear skirt with integrated exhausts.
If you think that current 2008 BMW M5 is not sporty enough (and it doesn’t look particularly sporty to me with its plump body with a thick layer of fat covering those bulging muscles), then you may consider installing the new “M5 Sports Line” body kit from Japanese elite tuning company Wald International.
The British NICE Car Company (they actually called their company “NICE”? well, that’s nice) is going to start selling yet another city electric vehicle. The reason behind the move is pretty obvious: since in the foreseeable future accumulators are not going to last for more than 200-250 kilometers on a single charge and electric cars will not be feasible for long range travel, it would be more efficient to downsize a car from the usual full-size sedan to something more compact (like a VW Polo or, perhaps, a Fiat 500) and limit its use to short, emissions-free trips around town.
It was finally confirmed that not only the coupe, but also the cabriolet version of the tiny 2008 BMW 1-Series sport car may be equipped with a new body kit that was recently presented by the German tuning specialist Hartge.
